IEEE EVIS-2022 EV Competitions challenge universities and students to design and apply advanced technologies to electric vehicles. These competitions provide an opportunity for future engineers and researchers to challenge their creativity and skills to address efficiency issues in modern electric vehicles.
Prospective teams are invited to register their EV prototypes using the event webpage in one of the following categories:

  1. Mini electric vehicles - Battery or solar powered-
  2. Unipersonal EV prototypes - Low-speed lightweight, two and three wheel vehicles-
Important dates:
  • 22 May 2022: Call for EV competitions
  • 15 September 2022: Deadline for registration
  • 22 September 2022: Mini battery or solar powered vehicles competition
  • 23 September 2022: Unipersonal EV prototypes competition
Registration: Teams must complete an online registration to compete at the IEEE EVIS-2022 EV Competitions. This is done on the EV Competitions website and must be completed at least one week prior to the competition date.
Awards: 1st and 2nd place will be awarded to the teams having the most efficient electric vehicle.
